What does darkness mean in a dream?
In scientific dream interpretation, darkness is a semantic image: it conveys its meaning through figurative correspondence. It points either to a parasite feeding on the dreamer's mind or to a passive stance toward an unmistakable vampiric takeover. In the second case, imagogic analysis of the image should identify the specific person acting as the carrier of that vampirism. For an accurate reading, weigh the overall context of the dream, the accompanying images, and the emotions felt while dreaming.
