How the Moon calendar works
The lunar cycle lasts 29.5 days — from new moon to new moon. During this time, the Moon passes through all 12 zodiac signs, spending approximately 2.5 days in each. Each sign gives the day a particular quality: Moon in Taurus — stability and material matters, Moon in Scorpio — transformation and deep processes.
Moon Phases and Their Meaning
New Moon — the starting point. Time to set intentions and lay the foundation for a new cycle. Waxing Moon (Moon days 1-14) — a period of growth, energy accumulation, starting projects. Full Moon — the peak of the cycle, time for results and culmination. Waning Moon (days 15-30) — completing what was started, summarizing, cleansing.
Moon Days: What They Are and Why They Matter
A Moon day begins at moonrise above the horizon. The first Moon day spans from the moment of the new moon to the first moonrise after it. Each of the 30 Moon days has its own characteristics: energy, symbol, recommendations. Some days are considered favorable for new beginnings (3rd, 7th, 11th, 15th), others for completing tasks (9th, 19th, 29th), and some require caution (12th, 26th).
Personalized Lunar Forecast
A generic Moon calendar does not account for your natal chart. But the transiting Moon changes houses in your chart every 2.5 days, activating different areas of life — finances, relationships, career, health. A personalized forecast shows when specific actions are favorable for you and when it is better to wait.
